Mega Game Operation Husky 1943

 The other area of wargaming I enjoy doing is hosting large megagames on 20-30 ft by 6 tables or several tables and have done many over the years, to memory 3 Napoleonics, 2 Renaissance, Blitzkreig in 6mm, Arnhem in 20mm and plenty of Napoleonics. First thing with hosting any Megagame is to get the right ruleset, and simplicity is often a major issue as many players will not have played the rules much before and with the numbers of figures is important. My favourite ruleset for the 20th Century is FFT3 however with Operation Husky being a primarily Infantry affair I looked around for a set of rules which I felt would do the trick and have ended up with Blitzkreig Commander IV. Their are bits I dont like but with optional rules will I think allow me to do this well. 

So having decided on the rules the next thing was to do the orbat so have started with the Americans
